Another nice morning today. A little windy though. Without rain behind it, it makes things a little more dangerous here in Texas. The fire danger scale tends to climb through the roof with dry weather and wind. I’m already seeing a lot of stuff on the news about LOTS of dangerous brush fires down around the Austin area. Hopefully, all of that gets stamped down pretty soon with a minimal of life and property loss/damage.
There’s a few things on my plate for the day today. Top of the pile is my Topic Paper for my dissertation. After that, comes the grading for my six classes (if I don’t do this on a weekly basis – I get way far behind), and posting to my Uni classes. After that – I’ll take the time to work on the podcast audio for a bit. I’m currently stumped as to what to use for the Spoken Word segment — just not sure what will fit in properly with the discussion of the trip to Falcon Circle and Colorado. I’m sure I’ll figure something out by that point.
For the most part — life is fairly quiet. Lots better than it was – say two months ago. Plus, I’m enjoying the opportunity that I have to get a little more organized with what I need to accomplish for my own Life and daily tasks. Plus, with the temps going down — I can start walking again and trying to add distance to each day – instead of limiting my distance and time outside. And that’s something I really like!!
