About Me

Well, to start things off – I’m really nobody special or out of the ordinary. Just a Pagan, Polytheist, Druid making his way through life. But all of that really only begins to scratch the surface. I have been on my Pagan Path since about late 1986. I have tried Wicca (more than once – different traditions), being a general Pagan with no ties anywhere, Ceremonial Magick, and now Druidry. I found Druidry, particularly that of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD), to be much closer to the way I practice my daily Paganism.

I am claimed by two Trickster Gods and a Germanic forest Goddess, all of which makes times “interesting” on most days. Crow and Coyote tend to keep me humble, and Abnoba tends to shove me on to the straight and narrow. Aside from these three, there is a strong affinity and love for Wolves, so that figures in as well, especially these days.

I served in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 1994 and had a hand in the work to procure worship facilities from the Chapel Services for all branches of the US military. I was also in the service during the fight to allow the pentagram on the grave markers for US Servicemen, as well as the work towards getting “Pagan” to be allowed on US Service members dog-tags. Much of that work was achieved by a good number of people…I was just one person in all of that.

I am a type-II diabetic, so life gets a little weird from time to time – depending on what I eat, drink or what medications I missed. 🙂 I tend to believe that at my age, I have lived a fun life to this point, but am looking forward to so much more. So much more.

I hope you enjoy the blog. I am not here trying to sell myself as a brand or anything like that. I have no desire to make a “name” for myself. Merely to share my experiences in the hopes that one person may get something from what I say. Even if that person doesn’t read this stuff for many years to come.
