Whew.  The last two weeks have been just absolutely exhausting!  Between the mid-point in one set of classes, and the final exam point with another set of classes — I’ve barely had time to breathe.  Much less get my own school work.  So I’m woefully behind in my own class.  I’m hoping to make some traction during this weekend though.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m not going to take some time out to get a long overdue podcast episode out.  The topic for this upcoming show is the combination of my desire to have my own garden with my own black thumb.  I swear, I’m the grim reaper of plants.  LOL  But I’m trying a few new techniques this coming Spring – including planting a little earlier in the year and nurturing the beginnings indoors first.  Provided I can keep the cats from eating the plants.  So there,s a bit of a challenge there.

The more neglected side of Life remains the political realm – and will likely remain so through the coming election cycle.  I’ve had a few Emails from folks looking for my perspective on the Occupy Wall Street protest, as well as my views on how I see the coming election shaping up.  For the Occupy Wall Street protest – I have no idea.  It doesn’t appeal to me, so I pay no attention at all to it – from either perspective, pro or con.  Others are caught up in it, and seemingly its all that can be talked about – especially where I hang out for coffee and talk.  When the topic gets inevitably brought up, I’ll zone out of the conversation until it eventually peters out.  As for the election cycle….I have no idea.  I barely know who the candidates are at this point or what they even stand for.  This time around, I just can’t find a reason to get even mildly interested.  To be really honest, politics is one of the biggest turn-offs that I have.

Outside of that…Life keeps moving at a nice pace.  And I’m a lot more productive recently than I have been previously.  Nothing that a bit of more determined focus combined with a few hours of mindless down-time here and there wasn’t able to cure…plus, its nice having a smile on my face for the majority of the day.  🙂
