Morning. Well, its morning here in Arkansas as I start this post. It might not be when I finish it…but morning seems to be a good way to start a post, don’t you think? 😉 Anyways, good morning…hope your day has started well or has gone well. And if it hasn’t…I completely grok your perspective. But try to find the positive in things…

So….I missed the blog post for last week. ::shrug:: Big deal. Its not like I’m getting paid for this. Sure, people read what I write….but if I don’t write for a week…are they getting ripped off? Anyways…

We’ve made it to a Monday. Since I owe you a blog post….I’ll write one now…and another one later in the week. That’s two. More than the usual price of one, right? 🙂 Besides, its good to write a bit more excessively, every once in a while, right? Even if its just a pile of mush….eh?

So, what to write about for today? Well, there’s always politics, right? Except that I find that topic to be rather nauseous. I mean, who really wants to hear what I have to say about American politics these days? Trump is bad. The rest of the Republicans are a bit unbalanced, and the Democrats suck beyond belief. Third party candidates are lying low in the weeds. So there’s nothing much to say. So politics is out the door…

Perhaps, I should pontificate about American sports. But there’s so little to lay out on that subject as well. American football blows sweaty balls. Hockey sucks beyond the pale. Soccer is….well, its soccer. Baseball is a good sport to talk about…but it is what it is. Perhaps figure skating? Tennis? Marathon running for the over seventy-five crowd? There’s not much to really discuss there.

So, that leaves us with discussing books. And not just any books. We can discuss books on Spirituality. Right? I mean…we could discuss what books work for us, which ones don’t, and which ones just sound hokey. Right? So, let’s go that route….into the future we go. Next week, I’ll discuss Emma Restall Orr’s “Druid Priestess”. I’ll talk about the writing style, the topics she covers….all of it. That should be a good place to start. After that, I’ll decide which book to tackle after that. Sounds like fun? Cool…if not, sorry about that.

The next blog post – the one coming up later this week – will be about where I am in conjunction with my daily Path. I’ll talk a bit more about some of the struggles I have, as well as some of the wonderful connections I have made. A bit of looking at where I’ve come from during the past year, as well as where I am lining up my daily life.

In the meantime…hoping the start of your week is going well. Mine…well…it could be far worse than where it is. It could also be far better. I still have to keep moving forward throughout the day though…you never know when that train is coming down the tracks….and whether you’re lying down waiting for it to come… 😉
