Well…hello…again. Yes, its still me. I’m still alive…somewhat. Its the Monday after a Gulf Coast Gathering…and I’m still breathing. ::big sigh:: Where to start?? Well, how about at the beginning…

A while back…I stopped writing blogs. Why? Because my brain was rewired. Sort of. Essentially, I was fried out. Couldn’t think straight. Couldn’t even sit down to write out a few words. Essentially, I was teflon. Didn’t think anyone cared either. I had moved out here to Arkansas, where Pagans are essentially underground. Hiding from the over zealous Christians that seem to be all over the place around here. I had placed myself in a zone of…forget-I-ever-existed. It was just easier to go underground and hide. Which is what I have done. Life has never felt more dark and underground for me.

My health is what has taken center stage for me. Over time, I have been diagnosed with failing kidneys. Not an uncommon thing. Just not what I had been hoping for. Then a few weeks ago, my heart became the primary focus. Apparently, my valves are blocked…to the tune of 75-99 percent. Which explains my persistent wheezing at the climbing of the stairs each night. My heart blockage may be the reason behind all my other chronic issues. So, in about two weeks time, I will go in to the doctor’s office to have that checked out. Its too complicated to sit and type out. Just that I am going to have a stent placed into my heart. It sounds more difficult than it really is….but I am not too fond of the idea of anything being done with my heart. But it is what it is. ::shrug::

In the meantime, GCG kicked off. This year, Kristoffer Hughes was the guest. If you have never seen Kristoffer live before, you are missing out. He is a hoot. An absolute joy to watch and listen to. Just fantastic. It was a joy to be at this gathering with him. Plus, I got to see friends I had not seen…some in several years. And I got to make new friends as well. That made things even more special. It was absolutely amazing. Even if I did have to leave each night around 8:30pm to go back to the trailer to hook up for the night. ::shrug:: I still got the chance to see everyone and participate in everything except the late-night fun. It was still a time to be had.

Anyways, this is a quick update on things. And the restart of the blog. I figure this may be my cathartic way to keep in touch with everyone. Even when Facebook is no longer the gauch way to stay in touch. This blog will always be here. 🙂
